25) Republic Day 2021: History value of the day India became a new republic

India Republic Day -- India celebrates Republic Day every year on 26 January and this year the country will celebrate their 72nd Republic Day to be able to mark the day India became a sovereign republic. HERE ARE SOME INTERESTING DETAILS OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIAN 1The Constituent Assembly found for the first time in New Delhi on December 9 1946 in the Constitution Hall which can be now the Central Corridor of Parliament House. 2A drafting committee was hired for drafting the Constitution of India with Doctor B R Ambedkar since the chairman. 3The Constituent Assemblage took almost three years (two years eleven months and seventeen days to be precise) to complete its historic process of drafting the Constitution for Independent India. 4The Constitution was adopted through the Indian Constituent Assembly about 26 November 1949. That came into effect on January 21 1950. 5The draft on the constitution was submitted on the Indian Constituent Assembly about November 4 1947. Throughout 166 days that was over two years the 308 members of the Assembly met with sessions which were open to people and made few updates. 6Finally on January 24 1950 the Assembly members fixed two handwritten copies on the Constitution one in English and one in Hindi. Two days down the line January 26th 1950 the history was made. 7Indian Constitution is the lengthiest written constitution on earth.
